Organic Anti-Aging Skin Care

Avoid Skin Problems By Using Non-Toxic Products

Organic skin care products are better for you, and they put less burden on the Earth as wellWhy should you switch to organic anti-aging skin care?

All things considered, you could probably handle a toxic chemical or two, here or there.

It's the accumulation of multiple chemicals, day after day, that eventually overwhelms your liver with substances it can no longer break down and move out of your body.

Can You Say Liver Spots?

Those age spots are not just on the surface; they are three dimensional in the epidermal tissue, deposited by the liver because the stuff has to go somewhere.

In other words, if your liver is already overwhelmed with toxins it has been unable to break down, you WILL get liver spots.

You can bleach them, and they may fade a little over time (with consistent bleach applications - more poison), but the toxins - and the spots - will still be there.

Of course, you get exposed to toxins through more than just your beauty products, but the numbers of poisonous substances that add up from daily use are astounding!

The Environmental Working Group reports that the average adult uses nine personal care products each day, containing a total of 126 unique (and possibly dangerous) chemicals. More than 25 percent of all women use 15 or more personal care products every day.

Even worse, the EWG states that "one of every 13 women and one of every 23 men are exposed to ingredients that are known or probable human carcinogens [cancer-causing agents] every day through their use of personal care products."

It's a scary thought, but unfortunately true: ingredients commonly found in most commercial body care have been shown to cause cancer. Yet millions of people apply these products to their skin and scalp on a daily basis.

And the Food and Drug Administration (FDA) doesn't even get into combinations of chemicals, so who knows what happens when they start mixing their potions? (and when was the last time you saw any product with only one ingredient?)

Are You Ready Yet To Make the Change to Organic Anti-Aging Skin Care?

The truth is, not all organic anti-aging skin care products work very well - which is why many otherwise "green" shoppers will make exceptions when it comes to beauty care. You have to do your homework to find which ones are effective, and which ones aren't.

Fortunately, I have done that research for you.

Here is the first installment:
